It’s time for Chinese New Year crafts! Here is a fun one Jayden did at school to make a lucky fish. Fish in Taiwan is a popular dish around Chinese New Year because it sounds like abundance.
You’ll need three paper plates and a bunch of red circles.
Two of the plates get glued together for the body and the third gets cut into fins and a tail.
Fold the red circles in half and glue them to the fish body for scales.
Draw on some eyes and other details and add a Happy New Year slogan to the bottom.
May the Year of the tiger be full of abundance for you!

Those are amazing!!! I can’t believe how much concentrated attention they can get out of kids that age–what’s the magic spell?
