Here’s another Chinese New Year Craft Jayden made at school. It’s a paper clay dangly of an auspicious lion. Here’s an example all pieced together.
You need to make from your clay a large circle, a smaller circle, two ears, two eyes, two cheecks and a long rope which gets cut into the mane. Here Jayden is making the rope/mane.
And this is how it will end up.
I’m not sure which one is Jayden’s.

Kids were looking over my shoulder as i was reading. Silas wants to know if Taiwan is in New York City. Annabel thinks the auspicious lion means it’s nearly Christmas.

Great signs, Julie. I enjoyed all of them. Got a kick out of the ice cream sign and enjoyed Jayden’s lion project too.
