We had a bunch more people over on Sunday for sort of a farewell party. We had a potluck in the rec room and then headed over to the river to see some endangered red crowned cranes. There’s only four in Taiwan, and they live near our home for part of the year. I’ll share more pics of that later.
While we were down there, we made friends with someone with a tiny runt of a dog. Jaylene petted him! And, my dog-fearing daughter actually held it! Although, Ahji pointed out it’s more like a rat than a dog. Still it’s a step in the right direction. It’s funny that she fears “real” dogs so much, because she adores stuffed animal ones. Right now she’s carrying her Clifford, the Big Red Dog doll with her everywhere, even to school.
