Apparently I caused a ruckus with my wordless wednesday post and now you’re all ears to find out the story behind the pictures.

Nothing really exciting, my mother-in-law was visiting one day in the summer and brought over some pig ears that she needed to de-hair before cooking them (in a soy sauce).  I think she is quite the dedicated chef as I most certainly would not spend an afternoon plucking hairs off of dinner.

I haven’t tasted them so I have no idea if they are as good as my husband says they are.  He eats barbequed intestines so I don’t necessarily trust him.
