Well, we didn’t get to the airshow after all. A bunch of colds and coughs kept us inside this morning. However, that gave me a chance to scrap (and clean the house!).

We took Jaylene to participate in a drawing contest at the Confucious Temple in Taipei.  We went just for fun and had a great time drawing and watching the other young artists at work. While Jaylene was completing her picture, a young man asked if he could take her photo. Jaylene couldn’t resist getting all goofy!  He was kind enough to email the photos to us later. A year later, Jaylene still remembers this day. However, she refers to
it as the time when she ‘won’ the drawing contest. With a winning picture or not, she’s a fabulous little artist.    April 2006
