Hey there! Popping in to show you some funny homework I’m working on. I’m taking a media and technology course in the evenings and weekends right now and for one assignment we had to take a bunch of technology related photos. Of course I couldn’t just take pictures and although I don’t have time to properly “scrap” this set, I thought it would be fun to put them together.
How do you bring up the topic of digital citizenship with your kids? What guidelines do you have when it comes to online time and how do you monitor their web activity?

I haven’t discussed digital citizenship with them. I’m not convinced that online activity should be thought of in that way. We’ve talked about being extra careful about communication online, since tone doesn’t translate very well (I’ve made sure they understand that it cuts both ways). We’ve also discussed security and the types of information that should be held close.
We keep the computer in a central location, where anybody can see what anybody else is doing. I won’t divulge my other (spying) techniques, but my children all understand that I am watching. Little Brat just considers me nosy.
Is that what you mean?

Love the concept for your images.
Good luck with the child raising issues and technology. I think this is one huge area of concern for so many parents.
