Our Indoor Garden

We bought some pumpkin plants at the white carrot festival a few weeks ago. We don’t have a garden so we made an indoor garden. The kids were thrilled with the idea.

Materials:
Big cans
hammer/nail
small rocks
dirt
plants

Directions:
Poke holes in the bottom of the can for drainage with the hammer and nail. Add the small rocks (we reused old aquarium clear pebbles). Add dirt. Add plant. Put in a sunny place. Water regularly.

We didn’t do so well with that last step.  I guess we won’t be growing our own pumpkins for Halloween after all.
