The school I teach at sometimes gives the kids a fun lunch on their final test day. This time they gave them pizza and moji.
What is moji? Well, let me show you first…

Mmmm, glutinous rice with red bean filling. I only ate two, but I was eyeing the rest. It’s actually quite delicious, once you get past the English translation. However, I did not have any of the seafood pizza.
Now any pizza looks gross in a picture, but I’d like to bring your attention to the mix of seafood used for toppings. I didn’t get a close up of the tentacles, sorry. At least they didn’t put frozen peas and corn on like they do with other pizzas.
What do you eat for treat food?

Mochi!!! I miss it! It’s sooo good. But it’s pure carb!
Seafood pizza is yummy! You don’t like it? Allergic?

I love how you write that Moji is actually quite delicious “once you get past the English translation”!
The treat food that I miss most is actually those Japanese ice-cream “buns”? They look quite like the mojis above but inside are delicious ice-cream… How sad that the Asia markets here don’t actually stock these

Treat foods: Dreyer’s Strawberry pops with real fruit, peanut M&M’s, hickory barbeque wavy Lay’s potato chips, grapes, dried apple rings, toasted almonds… mmm. =)

You’re right, the translation doesn’t exactly make my mouth water. I’ll take your word on the tastiness (since I’m not supposed to be eating such things right now, you can have my share. Am I not generous?). That pizza doesn’t look too bad, c’mon!
Right now when I want a substantial treat, I get a chicken burrito relleno (that’s shredded spiced chicken breast with sour cream and guacamole in a flour tortilla that’s then doused with queso dip–most of the Mexican restaurants around here agree on the ingredients and description) to which I add additional queso dip and scarf it down! For a sweet treat, I get sugar-free turtles candy. Tasty!
And now I’m all hungry…

we are a homestay family and one of the japense girls bought as what kinda was meant to be a cookie (maybe) but it was like two little pancakes that had sweet red bean stuff in the middle and they were YUM!! I liked them more than the kids… more for me.. I love trying desserts from other places

Mmmm, I have to admit, that Moji looks quite yummy. I`d try it, but not the pizza since I detest seafood.
My favorite treat foods include Creminos (sort of like mini fudge sandwiches) and Elotitos, which I think are Corn Nuts in Canada . . . my favorite flavors are jalapeƱo and BBQ.
