This week’s Unplug your kids challenge was “old“. We thought of all the songs we knew that had the word “old” in them, and came up with three. Two in English and one in Chinese. We sang along to “Old MacDonald” and “There was an old woman who swallowed a fly”. Then we played along with our farm animals while we sang. Then we decided we should make a 3D Old Woman who could really swallow our animal toys.
Here she is all hungry before the song starts…

And here she is swallowing a cow, in case you wondered how…
And a close up of her insides. She’s quite the fashion queen, Jaylene has plans to reuse her dress as skirts for her (girl) stuffed puppy Triton once she’s finished serving her entertainment purpose.

Oh, I love this! The interactive part is great.
I have very fond memories of my dad singing “There Was An Old Lady” on camping trips when I was a kid. It was always one of my favorites.

That is so clever! What a wonderful idea for “old.” I love how people come up with such a wide range of ideas when the theme is so general. Great job!
