Finally it’s Friday! I went back to work this week and it sure takes up a big chunk of time! But the summer schedule is much more relaxed than the fall so I’m enjoying that and trying to get ahead. But it doesn’t leave much time to scrap. Lately I’ve been playing around with how to make gel looking elements and you can see the result in the title of this page. It’s what I did for this week’s Lifts With A Twist.

The featured Layout is Eternal Optimist. I really liked the bright color scheme and tried to follow the vertical lines on the right side and the floral clusters. As usual with me, I found the scraplift takes longer than if I started from nothing, go figure.
