Jayden arrived at 9:12am on Monday April 9th. He was 4.1 kg (I’m told that’s about 9 pounds?) and 56cm.

He’s been pretty busy being completely adored by his big sister. She keeps begging to hold him and to free his hand from the swaddling so she can cuddle it. Every now and then she’ll look up from whatever she’s playing with, giggle and say “We’ve got a baby brother!”

Mama’s exhausted but doing fine.

Finally, BIG congratulations are in order. Jaden looks so peaceful and beautiful. I love the picture of Jaylene and it is obvious she is enthralled with her baby brother and will “mother” him like a proud sister. Julie, rest as much as a mother can and Jaylene will gladly help with Jaden’s care bringing diapers and other items when needed. I am very happy for you — a son and a daughter, how perfect!

Well I finally found this site and wow what a beautiful thing I see. I only wish you all were closer so I could snuggle up with you all. It is times like these that I had loads of $$$ to fly on over.
