Let’s see if we can get the blogging engines running again.
To jump back into the swing of things, I’d like to start off with a giveaway. I’ll stick with one of my tried and true Asian Collage packs. I’ll include various paper ephemera (possibly dictionary pages, maps, book pages, magazine clippings, etc.), specialty papers, red envelopes, chinese coins, faux jade rings and any other goodies I have lying around.

Two weeks down, a lifetime to go. Gosh I’m tired
It’s hard to to get a picture with his eyes open because he sleeps a lot, and when he’s awake, he’s wiggling like crazy.
Jaylene thinks when he’s crying he sounds like he’s saying “lions”. At school she drew this picture of him and wrote what he says. Pretty good at figuring out the spelling on her own! I had to laugh at the picture ’cause it shows how he’s swaddled up quite often, his Dad thinks it’s the best way to keep him safe. He’s compromising now and lets his arms come out to play.
Jayden arrived at 9:12am on Monday April 9th. He was 4.1 kg (I’m told that’s about 9 pounds?) and 56cm.
He’s been pretty busy being completely adored by his big sister. She keeps begging to hold him and to free his hand from the swaddling so she can cuddle it. Every now and then she’ll look up from whatever she’s playing with, giggle and say “We’ve got a baby brother!”
Mama’s exhausted but doing fine.
I’m scheduled for inducing Monday at 1am! There’s still a chance he’ll come before that. We’ve got an Easter lunch planned tomorrow with our local playgroup but after that…
I know I owe a bunch of emails, and comment replies and a couple of packages… please be patient with me!
